About Me River
Hi I’m River, one of Sharp’s Solar Academy Volunteers. I will visit my first school this month during Earth Day. I’m kind of a “river rat” as you can tell from my name and I like walking, swimming and splashing up and down wild rivers in California and the Western U.S. One of my favorite things to do is watch birds in the riparian areas along rivers – kingfishers, knatcatchers, wrens, sparrows and a lot more cool birds to see! I look forward to sharing ideas about how we can all protect our rivers and all of the wonderful things that live in and around them.
