Write A Letter: Pens Are Powerful
When there is an issue that I feel is important, I like to write a letter to my Representatives and Senators in Congress. Ever American, young or old, can do it too. Plus it’s really easy. You don’t have to be an expert in the field; all you have to do is talk about why the issue is important and what you hope the country will do. You can write on any subject from new parks in your town to cleaner oceans, anything. Here are a couple of good websites which helped me figure out who were my Representatives and Senators, and where I send letters.
